TRADITIONAL GAMES (Theory)

Traditional games are the classic children´s games.

Traditional games are performed without the aid of complex toys.

Classification:

- Races, jumping and balance.
- Throwing games.
- Strength games.
- Ball games.
- Work, skill games.
- Animal games.
- Fight games.

In their childhood days most of our parents played a lot of traditional games in the street and have lot of fun and enjoyment with their friends. But nowadays children are very much interested in playing computer and videogames and not at all interested in playing outdoor games and traditional games.

VOCABULARY 6: TRADITIONAL GAMES

- Chinese jump rope = el juego de la goma.
- Elastic band /Elastics = goma.
- To hold = sujetar.
- Holders = los que sujetan la goma.
- Jumper = saltador.
- Taut = tirante, tensa.
